Description The Norco MEDIO charger recharges batteries in 8 to 12 hours and comes complete with microprocessor diagnostics and LEDs signalling charging phases or faults.   APPLICATION The MEDIO charger is ideal for use in materials handling, airport, aerial lift, utility and general industrial battery powered vehicles. Three phase 230/400 AC 50/60Hz. Protection: Input protected by fuse on each phase. Transformer, class H, protected by automatic reset thermal switch. Connection: 2m of appropriately rated AC input cable. Output Characteristic: Wa taper to DIN 41774. Protection: DC fuse 3. Connection: 2.5m of appropriately rated DC output cable. Operating Ambient 0–60oC, 85% RH. Enclosure To IP20, Finished in Green (RAL 5010) and White (RAL 7016) epoxy paint. Control PBM 750K electronic controller with microprocessor and diagnostics. Safety timer terminates charge phase after 9 or 11 hours. Auto-Start after 5 seconds or 3 hours. Proportional charging. Equalise charging with WEEK-END charging, pulsed sequence repeated every 45 hours. Final charge time 3 or 4 hours. LED indication of charging phases or faults. Indication All LED’s flash: Diagnostic check before battery charging commences. Green LED (LD5): Flashing, battery connected and charging started. Yellow LED (LD4): Bulk charge completed—gassing charge started. Green LED (LD3): On, charging completed. Red LED (LD2): Indicates a fault. Yellow LED (LD1): Equalise/Week-End charge will occur. Red LED bar (L1-5): Indication of charge current.
